F1 LIVE: Lewis Hamilton labelled ‘Too Good’ as Brit sparks Latest FIA Investigation

Lewis Hamilton has sparked an FIA investigation into the wording of the rulebook, while Eddie Jordan has claimed that the Briton is “too old” to be competing as Max Verstappen’s team-mate in F1.

The seven-time world champion has been in the headlines with Hamilton at odds with the FIA over the lack of inclusive gender pronouns in the sport’s rulebook. The 38-year-old has regularly criticised the lack of diversity in the FIA’s upper ranks.

Following Hamilton’s comments, an investigation into the terminology is now underway with the FIA set to look at what they can do to improve the inclusivity of their rulebooks, with all drivers currently labelled as ‘he/him’ in their guidelines.

That’s not where the headlines stop for the 38-year-old though. Former F1 team owner Jordan has given his verdict on Hamilton’s chances of teaming up with fierce rival Verstappen before the end of his career, landing on the side of the Dutchman.
