Lewis Hamilton may not be enjoying the greatest of seasons, but that hasn’t stopped him from going all-out in the gym.

Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, has managed to claim four podium finishes for Mercedes so far this year.

He finished third in the British Grand Prix at the weekend, with fellow Brit Lando Norris coming second behind Verstappen.

With ten races already completed, drivers are already approaching the halfway point of the 2023 calendar.

There is still a lot at stake in the championship, and Hamilton is doing his best to get himself in shape for the next 12 races.

In a post on Instagram, the 38-year-old showed off his incredible physique in a series of gym session pictures.

Given the sheer strength required to drive a Formula 1 car, it comes as no surprise that he boasts an incredible set of abs.

Hamilton captioned his post with: “In my sport, every kilo matters. Even being a little off impacts lap times and race pace.

“It’s crucial to eat well, sleep well, and put in work at the gym. If you’re ever having a tough time remember that we’re in this together. It’s never easy, but always worth it.”

Even before the season commenced, Hamilton was in great shape as he prepared for his 17th year in the sport.

It’s clear that he has remained diligent in his fitness from then until now as he eyes a strong rest of the year.

Up next is the Hungarian Grand Prix, which takes place next weekend at the Hangaroring.

The Belgian Grand Prix is the following weekend and is the last race before Hamilton and his fellow drivers break for summer.
